Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Backend Node.js Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that power our POS software platform. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong proficiency in Node.js, AWS, MongoDB, SQL, and NestJS.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define system architecture, and implement solutions that meet business needs. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous monitoring, testing, and code optimization. Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of customer data. Work closely with front-end developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and team meetings to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development. Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience with frameworks such as Express.js and NestJS. Solid understanding of database technologies, including MongoDB and SQL. Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services like EC2, S3, and Lambda. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
