Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Analytical Intern to join our Research & Innovation team. This role is ideal for a candidate who is actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemistry or food chemistry. The intern will be responsible for assisting our team in the development of new and novel flavor-related technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the research and development of flavor characterization technologies.
- Learn and operate gas chromatographs and mass spectrometers for product development and commercialization.
- Perform wet chemistry and instrumental analysis of food products containing flavoring ingredients.
- Support flavor chemists on the development of new and novel flavor systems.
- Conduct research in the area of natural product chemistry.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemistry or food chemistry.
- Demonstrated interest in research and innovation, particularly in the area of flavor science and characterization of flavor profiles through the use of instrumental analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups within the organization.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
