Position Overview:

As a Content Creation Intern, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence, increasing brand awareness, and engaging with our target audience across various online platforms. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team and gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing strategies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to a growing organization, and build a portfolio of high-quality social media content. 

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation: Develop creative and compelling website, social media and external content, including graphics, photos/videos, and written content to drive engagement and increase brand visibility.

2. Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and publish content across various social media channels, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and tone of voice.

3. Community Engagement: Be present at the events hosted and attended by Orlando Jobs to help engage the community and potential customers.

4. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest digital trends, features, and best practices, and proactively recommend innovative ideas to improve our social media presence.

5. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze metrics (insights and analytics) to measure the success of content strategies, identify areas for improvement, and present findings to the marketing team.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategy with overall marketing initiatives, campaigns, and company goals.

7. Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities for content optimization.

 

Requirements:

1. Enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Digital Media).

2. Strong written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.

3. Proficiency in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok and YouTube.

4. Basic understanding of content creation tools, graphic design software, and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

5. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop engaging social media content.

6. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

7. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate within a team.

 

Duration and Compensation:

This is a semester-long internship position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. This will be an unpaid position with the possibility of evolving into a paid position.

Fall/Spring: 15 hours a week 

Summer: 20 hours a week
