The RN functions as a part of an interdisciplinary team and is accountable for direct care to a defined group of patients for his/her shift. The RN is also accountable for specific nursing duties such as medications, vital signs and participating in groups as assigned. Based on education/experience, the RN may be assigned responsibility as a preceptor to staff/trainees or charge nurse.
Work Schedule:
Night shift: 11:30pm to 8:00am, weekdays with weekend coverage. The Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager will discuss the schedule further.
