Behavioral Health facility that provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues is seeking an Inpatient Staff Psychiatrist. 

 

Psychiatrist will treat an Adolescent (12-17 years) caseload in an inpatient setting including initial evaluations, follow up visits, medication, prescribing of psycho- therapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Professionals to discuss treatment plans and patient progress.

 

Facility uses a team-based approach including full scope of support staff with tenured case managers, therapists and crisis intervention team. Call coverage is telephonic; Weekend call involves coming in to facility to round on patients.  

 

Facility is located just 20 miles north of Lansing, MI & 1 hr from Detroit.  Facility entails fifty four (54) beds with a combination of Child/Adolescent & Adult patients. Supportive work and care environment offering opportunity for professional and personal growth.
