We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial HVAC Estimator Gpac, a 30+ year-old recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Mechanical industry. This is your chance to join a team that values both exceptional service and a friendly working environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates for various commercial projects through utilization of estimating programs and other industry tools, while ensuring a thorough scope is developed for each bid.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Determine total costs for projects.
  • Prepare bids.
  • Choose appropriate materials, verify prices, check contractors, and calculate profits on a given project.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to communicate with project managers, customers, and other associates.
  • Meet with contractors, builders, owners, and engineers on the jobs to bids.
  • Create additions or changes on projects currently under contract as needed.
  • Prepare the billing of contract jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project management: 2+ years (Preferred)
  • Experience in the HVAC field (Required)
