Kforce has a client in Lehi, UT that is seeking a Jira Administrator Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure Atlassian tools such as Jira Software, Jira Work Management, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Status Page, Jira Product Discovery, and Atlas, aligning with agile best practices
- Support teams in two-week sprints by customizing Jira workflows, boards, plans, and dashboards to track goals and progress
- Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, and group configurations to ensure efficiency and proper access control
- Customize Jira workflows, fields, permissions, and notifications to meet team needs and ensure smooth sprint operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Atlassian tools, providing timely support to ensure teams operate seamlessly throughout sprint cycles
- Collaborate with scrum teams to design and maintain dashboards, reports, and filters to monitor sprint progress and team performance
- Integrate Jira with other project management tools and third-party systems to streamline workflows for development and product teams
- Stay updated on Atlassian product features, recommending tools that can enhance sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives
- Manage and configure project workflows and automations to improve overall team efficiency
- Customizing agile boards, sprint planning, backlog management, and generating reports on team velocity and burndown charts
- Configuring request types and SLAs to sync service requests with sprint timelines
- Managing spaces, permissions, and templates for sprint documentation, retrospectives, and collaborative work
- Supporting product teams by integrating discovery processes with agile workflows
- Communicating incidents and downtimes to reduce disruption during sprints
- Connecting Jira with DevOps tools, communication platforms, and other systems to promote agile collaboration
- Managing software components and services, ensuring streamlined tracking within sprint cycles
- 2-3 years of experience in administering and configuring Jira Software, Jira Work Management, Jira Service Management, and Confluence in an agile setting
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies with experience in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Expertise in configuring Jira boards, workflows, and dashboards for teams working in two-week sprint cycles
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues to ensure minimal downtime and team productivity
- Atlassian certifications (e.g., Jira Administrator, Jira Service Management)
- Experience with Atlas and Compass in agile environments
- Familiarity with Jira Product Discovery
- Experience with automation tools like Automation for Jira or scripting with ScriptRunner to streamline sprint-related processes
- Experience managing Atlassian tools in cloud environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
