Seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic procedures and assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in a fast-paced environment.

UCHealth is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Aurora, Colorado.

    Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Department: Echocardiography, FTE: Full Time, 1.0, Shift: Days, Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform echocardiography procedures on patients, selecting and using transducers according to anatomy, differentiating normal and abnormal structures, and analyzing results.
    • Review patient history and physician's orders, educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams, and prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
    • Implement safety standards, perform quality control procedures on equipment, troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions, and work in a fast-paced environment.

      Requirements:

      • Registered Sonographer, Reg Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer
      • Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
      • Required Licensure/Certification: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
      • Minimum Experience: None required
