MotoQuest AK is seeking Motorcycle Technicians

Positions are full time seasonal, five days per week, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and schedule is subject to variation depending on the needs of the business. Days off will be 2 consecutive days. Position is open immediately and ends early September 2024 with a possibility of continued work.

These positions require the ability to manage one's own time with respect to the daily goals and priorities of an ever-changing environment.

Motorcycle Technician candidates requirements

• Valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement
• Minimum 1 year working on motorcycles ( hobbyist or professionally )
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs and push heavy 500+ lbs. motorcycles
• Demonstrated skill with spreadsheet applications (Google Sheets or MS Excel)
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills

MotoQuest prefers candidates with the following attributes

• Excellent customer service skills
• Capable of communicating effectively by phone, in person, and email.
• Comprehension of Google applications such as Gmail, Sheets, and Docs preferred.
• Data entry and credit card payment processing experience.
• Valid driver's license (required); motorcycle endorsement (recommended).
• Clean driving record.
• Enthusiasm for motorcycling.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility in schedule and duties.
• Love for motorcycles

License/Certification:

• Motorcycle License - (Required)
• Driver's License - (Required)

Work Location

• In person
• Candidates must have their own reliable way to get to and from work and arrive on time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• 2 consecutive days off 
• Weekend availability

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
