Job Description​

Specializes in the medication process and responsible for process design, development, and implementation of the PIS, integrated MR and other systems. Leads the system design and decision making process related to pharmacy operations and the build, implementation, integration, and maintenance of technology. Designs and implements quality improvement changes in the medication use system. Ensures systems support interoperability and transportability while maintaining safety and confidentiality. Participates in orientation, education, and mentoring of staff. Oversees medication treatment and improves outcomes and safety, minimizing adverse effects and control costs. Identify and facilitate advanced CDS implementation. Maintains and optimizes content in PIS. Evaluates and tests changes relative to the state of pharmacy practice. Assures system integrity and operational efficiency. Provides guidance to junior staff.

Applicable Experience:

2 years

Licensed Pharmacist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration

Bachelor's Degree
