Finxact - Software Development Engineer in Test

What does a successful Software Development Engineer in Test do at Fiserv?

You will automate test scripts by taking non-technical details and converting them into automated scripts.

What you will do:

  • Deliver quality Software Components by developing robust tests

  • Monitor steps in the SDLC, including testing, debugging, and delivery

  • Ensure final product meets requirements prior to release

  • Analyze test results for user behavior issues, bugs, and suggest solutions to minimize problems

  • Support partners and clients by packaging and deliver relevant test scripts and tools with each build and release 

What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and/or testing SaaS Applications

  • 2+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful APIs, Postman and Newman

  • 1+ years of experience HTTP API Routing Frameworks and Webservices

  • 1+ years of experience with Agile Scrum Framework

  • 1+ years of experience creating and executing comprehensive Test Strategies

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work or military experience

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with GitLab

  • Experience with PostgreSQL and pgAdmin

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience with DataDog

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
