Mercy Health Heart and Vascular Institute is looking to hire Two Thoracic surgeons to our Cincinnati, OH team. As the largest health system in Cincinnati, the Thoracic surgeons would provide their expertise at our Mercy Health hospitals in the city. We have state-of-the-art OR's, Hybrid rooms and excellent support staff including dedicated CNPs, PAs, RNs and other surgical staff. The surgeons will perform all aspects of general Thoracic surgery and cover call on a 1:2 rotation. We are searching for skilled general thoracic surgeons to join our excellent medical team. The thoracic surgeon will be tasked with treating various conditions related to the blood vessels, lungs, and esophagus. You will also remove tumors, and provide quality aftercare. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in thoracic surgery and the broader medical field will be imperative for this position. We are seeking two thoracic surgeons to help build our general thoracic program.

To be successful as a thoracic surgeon, you should have in-depth knowledge of your discipline as well as the risks associated with each procedure. Outstanding thoracic surgeons should be highly analytical, observant, and able to examine each medical case from multiple angles.

Candidates for this position must be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Thoracic SurgeryVisa waiver: Open to H1-B visa applicants.Large referral network with 40+ employed Mercy Health Cardiologists and 160+ employed Primary Care providers.Market share leader of CV service line in Greater Cincinnati.Will provide Thoracic services at 3 of our area hospitals (Mercy West Hospital, Mercy Jewish Hospital and Mercy Fairfield Hospital)Benefit Components include:
