As a Supervisory Attorney-Advisor, you will:
- Be tasked with the responsibility and oversight of all special investigations as well as managerial oversight over all aspects of OSI investigatory operations.
- Analyze and provide legal comment on proposed legislation and regulations along with overseeing or conducting effective and comprehensive research into legal and operational issues. Conduct and coordinate follow-up efforts with agency or other government personnel to achieve resolution of OIG recommendations.
- Assimilate, coordinate, and analyze technical and analytical data from various sources, and prepare effective analysis or other reports to be used as a basis for action by the Office of Inspector General or other agency and governmental personnel (e.g., HUD, Department of Justice, U.S. Attorneys, etc.).
- Provide technical direction to staff in the coordination and conduct of HUD-OIG's extremely sensitive, complex, and controversial investigations
- Perform supervisory duties to permanent and detailed employees
