Job OverviewKomatsu has an excellent opportunity for an Electronic, Hydraulic and General Repair Person at our facility located in Reno, PA. This is a full-time position on second shift (3 p.m. - 11 p.m.). Key Job ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent of this position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Diagnose, inspect, repair and maintain all mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and air conditioning equipment
- Use complex schematics, wiring diagrams, charts, tables and maintenance requests
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic malfunctions to component level using test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Prepare for installation and install or remove machine tools
- Maintain and repair gas and electric fired heat treating furnaces and pits, including all supporting equipment in heat treat department
- Maintain facility and building, construct or remodel in-plant offices, walls, partitions and move furniture as required
- Work as a team member and assist engineers and supervision in making improvements to parts, methods, and drawings
- Recommend tools, equipment and repair parts to build or purchase for maintenance of equipment
- Maintain computerized or manual records of inventory and preventative maintenance programs
- Operate numerical control diagnostic systems to determine problems with controls
- Attend training as required
- Assist in general maintenance activities
- Perform repairs on plant main power transformer
- Perform other duties as required
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronic, hydraulic and general repairs, preferably with previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidate must be a team player with good communication skills. Must be able to work independently with little supervision and be a self-starter. Must be dependable, flexible and reliable.
