    My client is a well-known information technology company based in Newton, MA. They are a smaller and dynamic team who goes into the office 1-2 times per month.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing federal, state, and local income/franchise tax return compliance process, including acting as the main point of contact to our outsourced compliance provider (KPMG)
Collaborate across entire US tax teamBe involved in developing tax strategy, process improvementsOversee three direct reports: Assistant Manager, SALT and 2 Senior Tax Accountants (1 accountant oversees state income and international tax compliance, the 2 accountant is going to be a new hire, and this role will help in hiring)

The Successful Applicant

5-7 years of professional experience in tax, specifically state income tax and compliance Federal tax experience a plus, but not a requirementCPA preferred, not required Open to background in public accounting and corporate tax or mix of bothExperience working with multinational corporations a plusNeed prior people leadership experience (managing direct or indirect reports/mentoring)
