About the Position: This position is located in Kessler, Mississippi.

• This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
• A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
• Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
• Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

Duties

• Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings and provide treatment and follow-up care.
• Perform surgical procedures as a Primary Surgeon and also assist in Operating Room under minimal supervision.
• Evaluate functional and dysfunctional problems related to the female pelvis to include masses, pain, urological complaints, bleeding abnormalities, hormonal dysfunction and infections.
• Participate in didactic and clinical teaching of students rotating in the OB/GYN Clinic.
• Exercise consultative responsibility in the specialty areas of OB/GYN to other specialties within the hospital.
