This position is eligible for a $7,500 Sign on Bonus with a 2 year commitment
Position Highlights: Currently the longest accredited CAP/ISO 15189 Laboratory in the country. Highlighted in the Medical Laboratory Observer Magazine as Laboratory of the Year–2010. Auto verification of most commonly ordered tests. This position serves hospital, ER, clinic, nursing home, and assisted living. Job Summary
Responsible for the expeditious and accurate performance and reporting of clinical laboratory tests, record keeping, preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and procedures.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four–year college or university and completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or a Bachelors degree and one to two years of experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT for the Medical Laboratory Scientist required.
Certification, Licensure, Registration Certification from a National Credentialing Agency (NCA) or American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification preferred. Work Schedule Part Time; 50 hours every two weeks 10 hour weekday shifts 6:30 am – 5:00 pm; On Call one weekday overnight Every 5th Weekend/Call Time Rotation from Friday 5pm – Monday 6:30 am; Every 5th Holiday Rotation Pay
