This is a non-rotating, straight 8-hour shift position with a normal schedule of M-F, but some weekends may be required.

Safety

The operator follows prescribed safety procedures (Ref. SHMS 004).

Responsibilities

           
The stretch wrap operator is responsible for the following:

-Read notes left in the communication book (Ref. STDWK-RO1).
-Weighing and ticketing (Ref. STDWK-RO2).
-Weighing and ticketing crates (Ref. STDWK-RO3).
-Transporting the finished product from stretch wrap to the warehouse. (Ref. STDWK-RO4). (As Trained)
-Manually loads units as necessary (Ref. STDWK-RO5).
-Replenish cardboard dividers/slip sheets (Ref. STDWK-RO6).
-Refilling stretch wrap film rolls (Ref. STDWK-RO7).
-Repair stops on the Robotics system (Ref. STDWK-RO8).
-Transport plastic tubes to Superba department (Ref. STDWK-RO9).
-Operating Small Stretch Wrap System (Ref. STDWK-RO10).
-Perform Job Risk Assessment as needed (Ref. STDWK-RO11).
-Relieving superba operators for breaks - personal time as trained.
-Routinely serving as an assignment leader for the superba room (Ref. SPI 19 in the SPI manual).
-Keeping hands clean at all time when handling yarn.
-Insures system keeps yarn caught up with.
-Perform other job duties as requested by your immediate manager. Operator must fill out JSA if necessary.
Authorized Shut Down

           
The operator is authorized to shut down the stretch wrap machine or hyster if it is unsafe.
