U.S. Ski & Snowboard is seeking a Graphic Designer. This is a full-time, beneficial position eligible for our full benefits package including medical insurance and retirement. SUMMARY / OBJECTIVEAt U.S. Ski & Snowboard we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations across mediums such as print, social, broadcast and digital. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design trends, skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable and looking to be part of a âbest in classâ team. Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects.   • Bachelorâs degree in graphic design or other related accreditation to an arts college or university
  • 3-5 years of experience in professional graphic design
  • Experience managing projects from conception to completion, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet high priority deadlines
  • High energy, adaptable, and positive attitude
  • Expert knowledge of typography and grid systems
  • Have a clean, simple and effective design style
  • A solid creative portfolio that features typography work and strong design projects
  • Advanced Adobe skills
  • Experience designing motion for video and social media content 
  • Working knowledge of Google Slides formatting including importing presentations from PowerPoint/Keynote
  • Familiarity with creative production cycle and workflow for live events
  • Knowledge and passion for skiing/snowboarding is preferred
 Responsibilities
  • Elevate our brand message through all visual communications including digital and print
  • Collaborate with our internal Creative team to articulate and execute design solutions 
  • Work with our Marketing team to conceptualize briefs and pitch decks
  • Work closely with our social media team to create assets for platforms
  • Work with internal team of photographers to assist in retouching and image selection marketing launches and campaigns
  • Enhance and formalize the U.S. Ski & Snowboard style guide
  • Design collateral for events, social media, and digital platforms
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Be single point of contact for assigned projects from brief through delivery
