Icon Power is now hiring Warehouse Clerk for our Tempe office.
Warehouse Clerk will assist with purchasing, forecasting, and maintaining and auditing records of all inventory transactions. Including activities to limit costs and improve inventory turns and accuracy. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of solar panels and necessary equipment related to installation of solar. The Warehouse Clerk will ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
This position requires minimal travel.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.Forecasting inventory needs based on sales volume.Coordinate activities related to purchasing, planning, and receiving.Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing transactions.Assist in developing and managing a cycle count program ensuring inventory accuracy.Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and visionSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.Liaise with suppliers and transport companies.Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.Completes all required management reports.Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail.Excellent analytical skills with strong math skills.Excellent organizational and planning skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.Excellent customer service and organizational skills.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.At least five years of related experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred.A minimum of 5 years’ experience with inventory forecasting and purchasing desirable.A minimum of 1 year experience with an inventory management systems desirable.Purchasing and procurement experience preferred.Forklift certification required.Must have a valid state driver’s license.Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate forklift effectively and safely.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
