- Develop complex and large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights, address reporting and data science needs
- Ensure that data pipelines are observable, scalable, reliable, and secure
- Improve data quality and integrity
- Contribute to a high-performance culture, problem-solving, learning, and collaboration across data and analytics department

What you will bring

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or Applied Science
- 3+ years’ experience in Data Engineering and/or Software Engineering
- 2 years’ experience in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Databricks etc.
- Strong coding skills in Python/PySpark/Scala/Java or equivalent
- Proficient in SQL and data analysis
- Proficient in Linux and Bash shell scripting
- Experience in agile software development lifecycle and DevOps
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills

What we would like to see

- Hands-on work in on-prem to cloud migration, preferably in Azure
- Azure experience as it pertains to PaaS (Platform as a Service) offerings (Synapse, ADLS, DataBricks, Event Hubs, CosmosDB, Azure ML, etc.)
- Experience in infrastructure as code and automating production data and ML pipelines
- Knowledge of data warehouses/lakes/lake houses
