The Westmont Hilltop Education Foundation (WHEF) is seeking a proven fundraising professional who believes in the mission and tradition of the Westmont Hilltop School District. The Director of Development is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding alumni and friends of the school district to increase philanthropic support. This position will support the work of the Westmont Hilltop School District with a focus on acquisition research development, preparation of grant applications, and proposals for public and private funding sources for the school district. The Director of Development responds to the school community’s changing needs to support the strategic plan and other collaborative priorities, performing these duties as an energetic and entrepreneurial colleague who has an understanding of, and passion for, the school community and its future.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to: Bachelor’s Degree required, minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership in advancement, including development/fundraising, alumni affairs, and other related areas. Experience with database programs (i.e. Bloomerang) and an understanding of how to conduct donor research are preferred.
