Our Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) team at the Freeport site is looking for an Associate V with demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.  The ideal candidate is results driven with excellent attention to detail, highly skilled in both verbal and written communication, and possesses the ability to identify and solve problems to resolution.  

• Utilize your experience, working with the SAP team, you will analyze monthly cost to look for improvements and report them to the DST and Management
• Have responsibility for Accounts Payable and Procurement activities for the SAP Department (Work Cycle, NTB, PR’s, PO’s) ensuring that high value invoices are paid on time at the correct amount and aligned with the SAP Cost Accountant for proper period accruals.
• Facilitate/Participate in Monthly Cost and Annual Operating Plan reviews for the SAP team to optimize cost and look for improvement opportunities.
• Compile complex presentations in Microsoft Power point, and spreadsheets with formula / pivot tables / analysis capabilities in Excel.
• Participate in billing process, reconcile and audit invoices (non-raw materials) such as procurement activities and Invoice processing following BASF protocol
• Lead the document management system for the unit to maintain compliance utilizing MS TEAMS, SharePoint, and controlled document software.
• Independently manage calendars to accommodate conflicting meeting requests and handle calendar invites.  
• Support the operations team with administrative and miscellaneous tasks working under tight deadlines and perform multiple duties simultaneously.
• Perform and follow-up in various projects and administrative functions for the department requiring both specific and general administrative knowledge.

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of administrative experience.
• Are Highly proficient in MS Office Suites software suite and SAP software.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
• Can effectively handle confidential information and interact proficiently with personnel at all levels.
• Are multi-task oriented and able to manage tight deadlines, have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills to efficiently assist internal / external customers.
