Atrium Health Women’s Care-Natural Family Planning OBGYN is currently recruiting a BE/BC OBGYN physician to join our new practice based in Indian Trail, NC. This unique practice will focus on a natural approach to assisting patients with their obstetric and gynecological needs.

Position Highlights:

  • Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
  • Call: 4 per month; 24-hour shifts at new facility Atrium Health Union West in Matthews (less than 4 miles from office)
  • Practice consists of 2 Physicians. Call is shared with Atrium Health Creek Pointe OBGYN to decrease call schedule.
  • Average 28 patients a day

About the Community: Union County is one of the fastest growing counties in NC and is geographically located between the mountains and the coast, close to Charlotte. Union County has many wonderful neighborhoods, as well as excellent public and private educational opportunities. Atrium Health-Union West is on the I-485 perimeter of Charlotte and conveniently positioned between Atrium Health-Union (12 miles) and our tertiary hospital in South Charlotte, Atrium Health-Pineville (15 miles).

About the Hospital: Atrium Health-Union West is a 40-bed hospital in Matthews, NC. The campus is in a fast-growing market and has 7 LDRPs with an OR, 10 ED bays, 4 ICU beds, 4 ORs, endoscopy, and comprehensive imaging services. The medical office building features primary and subspecialty care. Twelve miles to the southeast is Atrium Health-Union, a 175-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children’s center with a NICU, interventional heart program and physician practices.
