job summary:
We are looking to hire an experience IT Systems Administrator to our client's team.

What you'll do:

Maintain IT/OT Infrastructure systems (hardware and software) for 24/7/365 critical real-time operations facilities.

Support users of OT Infrastructure systems.

Ensure and provide documentation for compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Participate in a team culture of consistency, transparency, adaptability, and understood accountability. Detailed Skills Needed:

Windows and Linux Operating Systems

HP Server and Workstation Hardware

TCP/IP Networking

Remote Computer Management This role is hybrid, and for consideration candidates must be located near Roanoke, VA.

salary: $27.50 - 29.50 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: High School
 
responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and peripherals.

Install, update and patch operating systems, firmware, and software packages.

Coordinate and perform system reboots.

Maintain accurate and detailed change management records.

Configure network settings and resolve telecommunication issues.

Perform computer system backups and restorations.

Manage and monitor virtual computing environments.

Utilize and modify process documentation.

Support user account access, password management, and problem ticket resolution.

Provide after hour support as needed in an on-call rotation.

Analyze and facilitate resolution of computing environmental issues, such as power and HVAC.

Monitor and engage with the latest industry trends and technology.
