Interact with Guests on a one on one basis or inlarge groups and maintain professionalism.Communicate and enforce all rider requirements andrestrictions.Must be able to deliver friendly and informativeannouncements to our Guests in small and large groups.Responsible for the proper and safe operation ofrides and attractions.Respond to emergency situations in a professional andefficient manner with a teamwork approach.Maintain a clean work area to promote a safe workingenvironment and help eliminate hazards.Maintain park cleanliness throughout the day andresponsible for end of night cleaning tasks.Certification RequirementsMust be able to achieve certification as a SpecialFacilities Lifeguard, paid training provided after hire.Responsible for maintaining all rescue skills at atest-ready level.Must be able to swim a minimum of 200 yards non-stop.Must be able to retrieve a 10lb. brick from a minimum6 feet/maximum 10 feet of water.Must be able to tread water for 2 minutes without theuse of hands or arms.Must be able to exit out of a pool without using aladder.Team Member ExpectationsComplete a minimum of 4 hours of in-service traininga month.Maintain proper grooming and uniform guidelines atall times.Follow and enforce all park policies and proceduresin a fair and consistent manner at all times.Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability towork well with others.Excellent communication skills to interacteffectively with Guest, other Team Members, and leadership.Ability to handle multiple projects, while payingclose attention to details.Willing to perform Shallow Water Lifeguard and WaterAttendant duties and responsibilities.

Skillsand Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old.Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per work, varied shifts,including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Attend all mandatory certification courses, in-service trainings,and meetings.Maintain all job requirements in all weather conditions including,but not limited to heat, cold, sun, rain, and wind.Willing to stand in and move through water for periods at waterdepths from 0 to 6 feet.Cannot have a fear of heights.Able to climb multiple levels of stairs throughout the day.Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Stand and walk a minimum of 7-10 hours a day over various surfaces.Able to continuously kneel, use hand-eye coordination, maintain aminimum of 20/25 vision or have 20/25 corrected vision.Able to continuously pull, push, and hold tubes, rafts, and mats.Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. for a minimum of 25 feet overvarious surfaces.
