  • We're looking for Pediatric Operating Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Dallas, TX. The right RN will have at least 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
  • Read below for more requirements: Pediatric Operating Room RNs will perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs.
  • Other responsibilities of a Pediatric OR Travel Nurse include documenting medical history, checking for any allergies the patients might have, obtaining patients' vital signs, and monitoring patients' emotional and physical well-being.
  • Watch for signs and symptoms of impaired gas exchange related to anesthesia.
  • Remain by the patient's side until anesthesia has been successfully induced.
  • Pediatric OR Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
  • RNs may face hazards from exposure to certain chemicals or infectious diseases in the operating room environment.
  • Requirements*: BLS, PALS, 2 Years
