Full Time Endocrinology Physician

Our 160-provider multispecialtygroup in south Massachusetts is searching for a full-time Endocrinologist. We arestaffed by Fellowship-trained physicians and mid-level providers and have astrong referral base of PCPs and other specialists. Southeast Massachusetts hasa disproportionate prevalence of diabetes compared to the rest ofMassachusetts, and the practice also manages thyroid and other adult endocrineconditions.
An interest in diabetes andthyroid disease is important, and proficiency in thyroid ultrasound and fineneedle aspiration (FNA) are desirable. Any other areas of interest or expertiseare welcomed. The successful candidate will see office patients in our FallRiver office and will rotate hospital duties at Saint Anne’s and CharltonMemorial Hospitals with your 3 physician colleagues. The hospital rounding teamincludes a midlevel (NP or PA), who will carry a pager throughout the day.
We also offers a comprehensiveweight management program, osteoporosis management, Men’s Health, a TransgenderClinic, and a Thyroid Center offering ultrasound and FNA. Lab and imaging arereadily available.
Salary will be commensurate withtraining and experience. We are an affiliate of Steward Healthcare but arephysician-owned and managed. This position includes possibility of partnership.We participate in all major national and regional healthcare qualityinitiatives, Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), insisting on the highestquality of care. Candidates completing their Endocrinology training are welcometo apply.
Fall River is in a lovely area ofthe country, surrounded by water of various sorts. We are 20 minutes fromProvidence, Rhode Island, an hour from Boston, and 30 minutes from Cape Cod.
