As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), you will:

Install, upgrade, and maintain Linux based systems, test new versions, troubleshoot problems with Linux servers running various versions of Linux.
Assist in system design and O&M issues of telecommunications backbone.
Test and develop procedures to publish for compliance and telecom operations.
Performs duties related to the implementation, administration, and operation of the Cisco Software-Defined Wide-Area Network (SD-WAN) management tool.
Collaborate with the team and management, working to prevent accidental system outages and other operational problems.
Develop test plans for project certification using best practices.
Responsible for management and performance monitoring of operational telecommunication systems, configuration review and implementation of layer 2 and layer 3 devices for transport and voice systems.
Assist with identity and access management, backup and disaster recovery, network security, management/implementation of software licensing, updates and patching, troubleshooting related to area of responsibilities.
