**The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center** is seeking a full-time BE/BC fellowship-trained **Orthopaedic Trauma** physician with a focus in **“Traumaplasty”** to join their dynamic team here in **Hershey, PA**
The division currently includes 4 full-time **Orthopaedic Trauma** surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a regional referral, tertiary care practice a with a Level 1 Trauma program. Our extensive referral base includes five primary counties in central **Pennsylvania**, a Level 1 and Level 2 trauma centers, as well as referrals from the extended central Pennsylvania region. This is an academic-style practice with strong subspecialty programs in all aspects of adult and pediatric orthopedic care.
**What We're Seeking**
The qualified candidate will be a full-time faculty member of the **Penn** **State Health Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation** and hold an academic rank within the **Penn State College of Medicine.**
1. Medical degree – MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
2. BE/BC in Orthopaedic Surgery
3. Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma surgery required, focus in the area of “Traumaplasty”
4. Interest and training in periprosthetic fracture repair and patient care
5. Excellent patient care abilities and interest in teaching as well as participation in nclinical research
6. Participation in the adult orthopaedic trauma call coverage schedule at two different hospitals (Level 1 and Level 2 centers approximately 30 minutes apart)
