Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dental health, patient education, and preventive care. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive and professional setting.

Responsibilities:
Conduct prophylaxis and periodontal cleanings for patients
Perform thorough oral examinations and periodontal assessments
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Take radiographs (X-rays)
Apply preventive materials to teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides)
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed
Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications:
Valid state dental hygienist license
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography (Carestack Experience is preferred but not required)
