Responsible for the development and implementation of USDA-wide Civil Rights enforcement programs, policies, and procedures involving a wide range of management functions and enforcement services.
Directs and coordinates a comprehensive processing system for discrimination complaints as they relate to employment and program delivery.
Ensures the issuance of final agency decisions on complaints of employment and program discrimination.
Represents the Department’s position on Civil Rights adjudication and enforcement issues at conferences and meetings with Congress and their key staff members.
Participates on federal advisory committees and maintains liaison, as appropriate or necessary, with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions, Tribal land-grant institutions, and other colleges and universities.
