Slots Administrative Clerk

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Slot Administrative, the Slot Administrative Clerk is responsible for performing a broad range of general office and administrative support to the Slot Department. The Slot Administrative Clerk is also responsible for providing updates on special projects as assigned by the Slot Vice President, directors, or managers. The Slot Administrative Clerk is required to exercise independent judgment and take initiative in reviewing, monitoring, and tracking departmental information to ensure sensitive deadlines are met for all Slot projects and the department. The Slot Administrative Clerk collaborates, initiates, and supports opportunities with other functions by championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribe's vision, mission, and values.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Carries out day-to-day office administrative functions by ensuring all records and files are accurately maintained and held securely, where confidentiality of information is upheld. Conducts research, prepares correspondence, plans meetings, and maintains calendars and schedules for Slot leadership. Assists department leadership with general administrative tasks such as record keeping, copying, filing, and organizing. Coordinates communication and distributes information to leadership, team members, and vendors by providing general information and status of activities and projects.
2. Inputs, tracks, and maintains slot gaming machine file paperwork into an electronic filing system for all slot machines for regulatory compliance. Organizes documentation to prepare the department for internal and external audits. Receives and sends service request forms for machine service and maintenance.
3. Manages the physical incoming and outward-bound inventory of slot machines. Creates and deploys all Slot machine identifiers for asset inventory control.
4. Maintains radio and mobile device inventory, in addition to tracking repairs and dispositions.
5. Reviews and verifies completed departmental forms to ensure all department employee and machine records are maintained and held securely while providing confidentiality of information.
6. Acts as support to the Supervisor, Slot Administrative by attending meetings and assisting with the coordination of Slot Department projects to ensure deadlines are met within budget.
7. Maintains inventory stock for the department and processes purchases of additional items/supplies as needed.
8. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.Education/Experience/Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two (2) years of related administrative experience required.
Minimum of six (6) months of experience of intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
Must have experience with internet web navigation applications and acquaintance with other business software.
Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients.
Must have experience demonstrating the utmost discretion and confidentiality as they might have access to proprietary information.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively with demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Must maintain a strict level of confidentiality and act in a manner consistent with all legal and regulatory requirements and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
