Primary Purpose:  Onsite located in Millsboro, DE

Provide subject matter expertise with the Live side of the business. Act as the business unit consultant pertaining to Software and Applications utilized in the plants within the company. The Systems owned will be MTech and Agrosoft.  There will also be some custom coding.   Position may perform any of the following tasks (but not limited to):  Analysis, Research, Pre-packaged Software Configuration, Design, Coding, Testing, Debug, Implement, Train, Document.  This position may also perform (but not limited to): Implement, Configure, Upgrade, Patch, Support third party software.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

  • Business consulting for the Live side of the business (MTech Systems, Agrosoft systems and interfaces from custom environment) to proactively make recommendations to business managers in respect to IT Live applications.
  • Process reengineering (AS IS) (TOBE) development and documentation for the Systems that Live uses.   Be able to configure for the business units to meet their needs.
  • Determine root cause (Debug) of issues and alleviate problems and streamline the processes
  • Maintain vendor support for issues that may occur.
  • Configure/Support third party software for the Live Systems and integration to Mountaire Custom Systems and Mountaire EBS

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required
  • 5 years' experience as business analyst preferred (or similar experience in troubleshooting issues
  • Full Life-Cycle Development knowledge.
  • Process reengineering methodology knowledge 
  • Some travel required between Mountaire Farms’ sites.
