Thus, through our enriching student program, we help develop the next-generation of engineers and technologists.  

   

An intern engages with Ansys for one semester. Over the course of this semester, you will develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will support our Cloud, AI, Solutions, & Enablement Business Unit to develop and document the next generation simulation platform for the democratization and re-use of Ansys technologies.  

   

This is a 40-hour per week paid position starting August 2024 and concluding December 2024.  

   

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  

− Work alongside software developers during the design, implementation and verification process.  

− Apply full-stack development toward tools and experiences to aid internal and external developers.  

− Research and apply emerging technologies and open source solutions  

− Engage a continuous delivery dev ops process for release management and feature deployment.  

− Develop prototypes or test new solution strategies or algorithms.  

− Work with documentation teams to deliver end user resources  

− Investigate defects in production code.  

− Develop unit and regression tests.  

− Analyze results and communicate findings using visualization software.  

− Additional responsibilities as identified by management  

   

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  

− Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical degree with significant programming experience.  

− Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship program.  

− Exposure to web, application, or full-stack software development  

   

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  

- IDE experience  

- Python Scripting experience  

- Cloud-based computing  

- RPC or HTTP Remote API Experience  

- Web Programming Language Experience:  Angular / JavaScript / TypeScript
