Job Summary:

We are seeking a product professional to join Moultrie Mobile's Product Team. As Product Associate - Launch, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of beta tests with both internal and external users for hardware and software features before they are launched to the public. The creation of test plans, surveys, and weekly reports to internal stakeholders will be critical for this role. The ability to synthesize data and recognize patterns will be key to ensuring a successful launch/beta test and provide the business confidence that we are ready to release a delightful product to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a pool of users that we can invite to participate in software and hardware tests.
    • Ensure users meet the minimum requirements of participation.
    • Ensure the pool is continuously fed with users that have new products and features to ensure we can reach all target audiences.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all launch/beta testers.
  • Build a relationship with participants through regular communication (including calls and emails).
  • Establish an incentive plan for users who are engaged and regular contributors to the program.
  • Responsible for sourcing and sending incentive products to participants.
  • Prepare for each test by working with internal stakeholders to identify ideal candidate criteria and select users to be invited to participate.
  • Report key insights from each test, identifying what drives delight and disappointment.
  • Create a feedback loop for participants so those who were not accepted to a test group know they will be considered for other opportunities.
  • Work with the hardware/device team to secure hardware devices that meet minimum functional requirements.
  • Create a beta/launch test schedule and publish for the business to track.
  • Ability to execute multiple tests simultaneously.
  • Work with Product Managers, UX team and the Product Researcher, to develop the test plans, including the generation of weekly test assignments/questions, instructions, survey generation, asset distribution, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Document and log issues reported from users. Recommend priority/severity and obtain consensus with Product Managers.
  • Lead meetings where appropriate and when needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline and 1 year of relevant work experience.

Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to think strategically, execute methodically, and problem-solve.

Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Outdoor (hunting and fishing) product-related background or familiarity preferred.

Experience running beta tests.

Experience with QA testing.

Familiarity with Tableau, Azure, Asana, Confluence, Survey Monkey, and Blue Shift.

Essential Job Functions:

May require sitting for long periods of time in an office environment.

Some travel may be required.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
