This is a full–time position including on–call hours

Position Overview: As a Surgical Technologist at Glendive Medical Center, you'll play a crucial role in providing safe, efficient, and supportive care to surgical patients. This full–time position includes on–call hours with rotating holidays and weekends, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule. Working under the supervision of surgeons and peri–op nurses, you'll utilize your knowledge of asepsis and sterile technique to ensure optimal outcomes for every procedure.


Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons and peri–op nurses in providing a safe and efficient surgical environmentApply principles of asepsis and sterile technique to prepare operating rooms and equipmentAcquire and organize equipment and supplies for surgical proceduresServe as a liaison between surgeons, instrument representatives, and hospital staffFulfill additional roles such as sterile processing and equipment acquisition as needed


Requirements: To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

Graduated from an accredited school of surgical technology or LPN nursing programMust have at least 2 years of experience in a surgical settingBasic computer skills required
