Job Summary

We are looking for a well-rounded, fast learner to join our Engineering Team. A successful Technical Engineer will be able to bridge the gap between technical skills and financial industry knowledge to deliver successful customized system implementations for our clients. You will work closely with the rest of the engineering team, other internal teams, and with clients as your knowledge and product experience grows. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new skills and technology, as well as focused on the client experience - helping our clients achieve the best possible outcomes for their business.

Responsibilities

• Configure product to meet business requirements
• Understand the functional impact of various configuration options and offer recommendations
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Technical Solutions
• Provide product demonstrations as needed (both internally and externally)
• Assist with client user Training
• Build product knowledge through training, self-directed research and testing, and working with senior team members
• Identify new market opportunities and communicate this information to the Product team
• Improve internal documentation, training materials and processes

Requirements

• Evaluate clients' existing business processes to define requirements. Using those requirements, build and deliver a customized implementation of our system, streamlining and automating where possible
• Create custom reports using advanced query writing skills
• Implement interfaces to third party systems using SQL technologies, XML/Xpath and XSLT
• Develop an expertise within our provided software solutions, and be able to communicate and train others with that expertise, both internally and externally
• Produce documentation appropriate for both a technical and business facing audience
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with Jira and Agile Practice
• SQL, XML/Xpath, XSLT, Git, ADO, Microsoft Office Suite, Slack

Education/Certifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university
