Workforce Strategy Intern

The Workforce Strategy Intern will assist with internal and external business needs and ensure they are meeting and/or exceeding requirements per the Regional VP. Work directly with the Regional Director and GM to support the distribution facility needs.

Essential Duties& Responsibilities:

  • Increase knowledge of Distribution operations through weekly warehouse work, site visits, and attendance at meetings and training during the period.
  • Conduct time studies, create metrics tracking, and create efficiency reports for management.
  • Work with the team around shipment tracking and tracing to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Proactively communicates with all clients regarding project plan exceptions and requests.
  • Coordinates with warehouse and office team operational readiness of racking and pack stations.
  • Compiles and submits data as needed for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Will carry out another specific project request as needed.      

     Experience, Education, and Training:

  • Working towards a BA or BS Degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)

Required:

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now, or in the future (ex. H1-B, F-1)
