A Brief Overview of the role

 

The Medical Director of the Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Service will provide:

 

Visionary leadership and clinical expertise, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.Blend the biological, psychological, and social aspects of mental health to develop and implement innovative treatment strategies.Accountable to provide supervisory and administrative tasks, provide and role model interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.Responsible for our acute behavioral health services including the crisis assessment center, the inpatient units and the mental health partial hospitalization program.Responsible for standardizing and delivering high quality of clinical care and outcomes and supporting the development of the strategic plan.Works collaboratively with other behavioral health and hospital leaders, including physician and nursing leaders to create a cohesive, quality driven behavioral health service line.Catholic Health Initiatives is a part of CommonSpirit®, one of the nation's largest health systems dedicated to advancing health for all people.
