About Cognizant’s Digital Engineering Practice:

At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently.   Small, nimble engineering teams generate collective empathy and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high quality deliverables.  Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies.  

 

Responsibilities:

·         Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture.

·         Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.

·         Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.

·         Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented.

·         Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.

·         Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets.

·         Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.

·         Previous project management experience is advantageous.

·         In-depth understanding of coding languages.

·         Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.

·         Efficient communication skills.

·         Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is preferred

·         Telecom Domain experience and solution Architect 10-15 yrs of experience

·         Huge experience on React JS,

·         Spring Boot, PostGres, Kubernetes, Docker

·         Experience in Cloud Technologies,

·         Analytic Problem Solving, Knowledge of Strategic IT solutions,

·         Computer hardware Knowledge,

·         Designing Functional Technology Solutions,

·         Guiding Development Team,

·         Good Communication and presentation skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
