With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
Surgery at Pali Momi provides quality services including general surgery, GYN, limited Neurosurgery, Opthalmology, Orthopedics and Plastics. Pali Momi’s fully integrated minimally invasive surgical (MIS) suite has pioneered the latest advances in surgical treatment available to the West O‘ahu community. Pali Momi Medical Center’s Bariatric Surgery Program is the only one in the state with a Program Director who has gone through bariatric surgery and works directly with our patients with firsthand experience to guide them. The experienced and caring Perioperative staff incorporates evidence-based practice and state-of-the-art technologies in their multidisciplinary approach to care.
As a Scheduling Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that specialty patient services are delivered in a timely and sensitive manner. This includes the scheduling of surgical and/or sedation procedures at the request of surgeons, anesthesiologists and other staff, producing statistical and management reports and assisting with departmental functions. We are looking for someone with attention to detail, solid organizational and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent. Medical Terminology course.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year scheduling experience in an operating room.
