This is a Salary Exempt position.

Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor leads all aspects of MRO inventory warehouse and lay down yard operations, which includes safe operations, receiving, stocking, issuing, cycle counting, parts repair and deliveries, and GMP adherence. In addition, this role will facilitate new item requests, Equipment Bill of Material (BOM) revisions, stock additions to the storeroom and rental equipment management.

Job Summary:
  • Provides direct daily supervision to ensure efficient operation of warehouse and laydown yard activities
  • Reviews and maintains accuracy of equipment BOMs
  • Manages rental equipment such as UTVs, Cranes, Trucks and other equipment used during the day to day Maintenance Operations.
  • Implement processes and systems to ensure that warehouse is following best practices throughout multiple disciplines
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize time to meet tasks and deadlines
  • Mentor, engage and provide guidance as necessary to employees
  • Provide recommendations to management on initiatives to improve warehouse operations
  • Review current SOPs / Guidelines and modify as necessary to eliminate inefficiencies in normal operations of the warehouse

  • 3+ years of work experience in warehousing, inventory control, and using Maximo EAM software
  • At least 1 year of work experience as a lead person or supervisor
  • Receptive to learning new tasks as directed
Working Conditions:
  • Inside areas:
    • Spring / Summer: Temperatures in some areas of the facility will be up to or exceed 100 degrees
    • Fall / Winter: Temperatures in the facility may be at or below freezing
  • Outside areas:
    • Spring / Summer: Outside temperature may be up to or exceed 100 degrees with potential for high humidity; may be exposed to inclement weather conditions including, but not limited to, rain and wind
    • Fall / Winter: Outside temperatures may reach freezing or below; may be exposed to inclement weather including, freezing rain, sleet, snow, and wind
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to thirty (30) pounds on a frequent basis, up to fifty (50) pounds on an occasional basis
    • Lifting or carrying of weights over fifty (50) pounds is rare; employees are encouraged to request assistance in lifting or carrying objects that weigh more than fifty (50) pounds
  • Ability to traverse up to two (2) miles during the course of a work day
  • Ability to move about or to a work site by stooping, bending, kneeling, or squatting frequently during the course of a work day; may require periods of prolonged sitting or standing
