Great role for a Mid-Level Litigation Attorney with 5-6 years experience in Litigation. The ideal candidate will have Big Law experience, strong academic record, Texas bar and varied Litigation experience. An interest in writing and strengths in: drafting briefs, pleadings, discovery, depositions, handling factual and legal issues are important for this role.

Job Description

As Litigation Associate Key Responsibilities include:

Taking depositionsDrafting briefs, motions and pleadingsLeading on discovery requests and interrogatories, and other legal correspondence/ litigation documentsHandling varied Commercial Litigation work within the Disputes Group Strong communication externally and internally, working closely with the wider practice groupActively contributing to the development and maintenance of client relationships

The Successful Applicant

The successful Litigation Associate will have demonstrable experience including:

Admitted to practice in Texas5-6 years relevant Commercial Litigation and Disputes experienceCommercial litigation experience including drafting briefs, pleadings, discovery, depositions, handling factual and legal issues, conducting oral arguments and discovery are important for this roleStrong writing, organizational and time management skillsForward thinking, highly collaborative approach

Cravath pay scale 5th year $365,000 or 6th year $390,000 PA base salary (depending on experience)
