Job Description
The Superintendent is responsible for:
Leading and supervising a team of skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, and laborers during the 3rd shiftEnforcing and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of all team members and store personnelEnsuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project plans and specificationsDeveloping and maintaining a detailed project schedule for the night shift, including daily tasks, milestones, and deadlinesMaintaining open and effective communication with project stakeholders, including the project manager, store management, and subcontractorsIdentifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during the renovation process, finding practical solutions to keep the project on trackMonitoring project costs, tracking expenses, and working with the project manager to control expenditures within the established budgetKeeping accurate records of project progress, daily reports, and any changes or deviations from the original planCollaborating with store management to ensure minimal disruption to store operations and customer experience during the renovationMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The right Superintendent will have:
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a flexible scheduleProven experience as a Superintendent for commercial or Supermarket interior renovation projectsStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and toolsExcellent leadership and team management skillsProficient in project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsOSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationWhat's on Offer
