What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an Assembler I who will be responsible for working cooperatively as part of a production team to manufacture and assembles complete refrigeration cases or partial sub-assemblies, including tanks, canopies, base frames, hardware kits, plenums, or other parts as assigned.  This shift will be from 3p - 11:30p with possible overtime. 

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

-Read and comprehend an “A” order
-Responsible for the assembly or production of component parts into completed subassemblies, assemblies or completed units adhering to the assembly work order/standard work instructions.
-Inspects parts or completed units by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.
-Perform end of line product checks and/or repairs
-Read rulers, tape measures, metal squares, and other measuring instruments.
-Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners 

using hand or power tools.  
-Notifies / communicates with assemblers, leads, and supervisors or upstream changes to ensure products are to specification.
-Works at different work stations as production needs require
-Makes recommendations for in-line and subsequent checks to increase first pass yield

What are the basic qualifications?

-High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
-0 -2 years of production assembly work
-Previous manufacturing experience

-Understanding of 6S
-Ability to read and understand all job specifications
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis
-May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling for long periods of time
