The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential care and support to patients under the supervision of the nursing staff. The CNA is responsible for assisting with patient care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to professional development. 

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES (not limited to):

  1. Assist with patient check in, ensuring all necessary paperwork and initial assessments/vitals are completed.
  2. Aid in the transfer of patients between departments, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  3. Support the checkout process by helping patients prepare to leave, providing instructions, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  4. Utilize inventory system to provide accurate and consistent inventory and ordering of supplies.
  5. Assist in stocking patient rooms and other areas as needed to ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
  6. Conduct regular checks to maintain appropriate inventory levels and prevent shortages.
  7. Assist nursing staff and units with clerical functions, including scanning, data entry, and managing patient records.
  8. Facilitate intra- and inter-departmental communications, ensuring messages and information are accurately relayed.
  9. Record vital signs, weights, and other patient data as required.
  10. Assist with basic procedures and specimen collection as directed by nursing staff.
  11. Preparing the equipment or supplies for the use during a procedure.
  12. Maintain professional growth and development.
  13. Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in the field of nursing and patient care.
  14. Seek opportunities for continuous learning and skill enhancement to provide the highest level of care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (not limited to): 

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  4. 2-4 years of enterprise network support experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
  2. Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  3. Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment

  2. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  3. Proficiency in using healthcare software systems
  4. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
