ECS is seeking a Systems Analyst - Cost Accountant to work in our Patrick SFB (Cocoa Beach), FL office.

Job Description:
  • The Analyst will have strong data analysis skills and experience working with cost accounting systems.
  • Candidate will have knowledge/experience in Oracle Enterprise Database 19c/12c.
  • The position must be knowledgeable of relational databases, and able to write PL/SQL queries to analyze data and produce reports.
  • The candidate will perform accounting functions including (1) Load contractor and GAFS cost files into JOCAS; (2) Perform JOCAS
  • consolidations; (3) Perform cost fundings in JOCAS; (4) Execute daily JOCAS to GAFS reconciliation reports and work with
  • stakeholders to address issues; (5) Assist with the monthly billing process; (6) Create and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts required for
  • daily reporting, financial analysis, daily GAFS post and request generation, and cost movements between funding appropriations as needed.
  • The contract includes 5 personnel located at Vandenberg SFB in California, and 5 personnel located at Patrick SFB in Florida.
  • Personnel include software developers, database administrators, system administrators, accounting personnel, and financial analysts.
Required Skills:
  • Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • DoD 8570 certification such as Security+, or ability to achieve certification.
  • BS in computer science, accounting or similar degree. Four years of IT experience is considered equivalent for BS degree.
  • Ability to create and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts related.
  • to management of financial data.
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor degree in business studies, accounting, computer science, information.
  • Familiarity with DoD, Air Force, and DISA regulations.
  • Oracle Certification.
  • Windows server management using VMware.
  • Familiarity with DoD finance systems (JOCAS, GAFS, DEAMS).
