DUTIES:
Ensures that regulations and procedures of the games are followed. Ability to stand, for an 8 to 10 hour-shift. Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. Exchange paper currency for playing chips or coin money. Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game. Deal cards to house hands, and compare these with players’ hands to determine winners, as in Black-Jack. Conduct gambling games such as dice, roulette, cards, following all applicable rules and regulations. Check to ensure that all players have placed bets before play begins. Stand behind a gaming table and deal appropriate number of cards to each player. Inspect cards and equipment to be used in games to ensure that they are in good condition. Start and control games, gaming equipment, and announce winning numbers or colors. Open and close game tables. Apply rule variations to card games such as poker, in which players be on the value of their hands. Receive, verify, ad record patrons’ cash wagers. Answer questions about game rules and casino policies. Refer patrons to gaming cashiers to collect winnings. Work as part of a team of dealers in games such as Roulette or craps. Seat patrons at gaming tables. Adhere to and ensure compliance with all PR&C policies, procedures, SOPs, and internal controls and government regulations. Maintain and ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations, policies, and procedures within assigned games. Protect and maintain integrity of assigned games and assets. Exchange currency for gaming chips; fills and credits (Poker). Effectively communicate with supervisors and obtain required approvals and acknowledge, greet, and converse (in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner) with customers who play at or approach assigned games. Interact with department employees in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two- way and cross-culture communications. Sustain a courteous attitude and pleasant demeanor in all relations including guests and colleagues. Abide by all company policies of Table Games Policy. Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Using mathematics to solve problems. Manual dexterity of hands with the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Have a working knowledge of two or more games all poker and table games. Must have the ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Must have the ability to see details at close range (near vision, within a few feet of the observer.) Maintain skill level necessary for efficient job performance. Must have the ability to quickly, and accurately, compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns. The things to be compared may be presented at the same time or one after the other. Good interpersonal, team building, customer service, and communication skills. Actively looking for ways to help people. Sustain a courteous attitude and pleasant demeanor in all relations including guests and fellow team members. Ability to take and follow direction from supervisory personnel. Ensure proper documentation of any presented pit paperwork such as fills, and markers are completed as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Computer literacy is a must. Attendance at all trainings and opportunities offered such as: MICS, etc. is mandatory. Must be proficient working with computers, efficient typing, correct spelling, and mathematic skills. Must be competent when dealing with all cash transactions. Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must have ability to manage critical deadlines, prioritize effectively and efficiently. The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test. Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License. Must be able to complete and pass Dealer Training.WORK ENVIROMENT:
Must be able to work in a second-hand smoke, high noise, bright lights, dusty and smoke-filled environment. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to be mobile throughout the casino for duration of shift. Must be able to lift 20lbs.
DUTIES:
Ensures policies and procedures are followed by day-to-day operation. Make sure all shelves are clean and dusted. Responsible for attending all mandatory training and meetings. Must have ability to manage critical deadlines and priorities effectively and efficiently. Responsible for making sure all equipment is cleaned and is in working condition. Must check back stock daily and stock as needed. On feet or standing for full duration of shift. Must be able to work in walk-in coolers and freezers Provides/Greets with excellent customer service. Retrieves starting/ending cash tills for shift with security escort from/to count room. Responsible for assigned cash drawer and responsible for shortages/overages. Receives method of payment by cash, check (amount of purchase only), credit/debit card, food stamps and charge tickets (for programs). Familiarize self with suggestive selling, know promotions. Responsible for keeping a clean and organized work area and front of the store. Responsible for stocking all products, when needed. Responsible for keeping all counters stocked, clean and organized. Responsible for keeping gas pumps clean and window cleaning products stocked. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with the public in a professional manner. Must attend all Mandatory trainings and meetings. Special projects and assignments as designated by the Store Manager. Must always practice and maintain confidentiality. All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be self-motivated and willing to learn Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing One (1) or more years’ experience in general housekeeping Must be able to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift Must be able to lift 25lbs Must be dependable, reliable, and able to work alternating shifts including peak hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends Must know how to run equipment Must be 18 at time of hire.
