Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Hybrid with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • An experienced Mechanical Design Engineer is needed to support the Operational Fires (OpFires) Program in the Tactical Missiles segment of the Advanced Programs Line of Business.
  • The program focuses on the design, build, and test of a demonstration missile as well as the development of a tactical/objective missile design.
  • The successful candidate demonstrates highly innovative approaches to resolving difficult design issues and will be responsible for the creation of detailed component and subsystem concept designs and mature those designs to released CREO models following Model Based Definition practices.

Pay: $72.40 /hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (1st shift)

Length: Contract (12 Months)

Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in ProE CREO Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool navigation.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in utilizing Microsoft Office tools.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) as well as in performing tolerance analysis.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in 3D Models, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Design, Design & Release, Design Release and Change Processes.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience working in air vehicle development and Model-Based Design.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance
